The word "Wiara" is a Polish word meaning "faith", but in a broader context, it also refers to a company of trustful friends or warriors. The roastery was birthed with one of those "imagine we start our own coffee company" moments, by two brothers who love coffee. Ryno and Sean wisely included their Dad, Stan, just to keep them in check.

Founded as a family-owned and operated business, Trade Route Coffees embodies a profound passion for coffee that has been nurtured over the years. Inspired by our experiences living at the southernmost tip of Africa and witnessing the maritime activities surrounding the continent, we embarked on a new adventure fueled by our love for coffee.
